Community Service "Sew-in"
A very worth-while cause
Here at R&R we are taking one day a month to do our "Baby Quilts", "Soldier Quilts" and other community projects that come up through out the year.
On the first Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., you choose the quilts you want to work on. We have enough fabric for whatever you want to do.
Sew with us or kit it and sew at home.
We need your help and it is very much appreciated.
Thank you Saundra and Joann for your hard work on making these projects possible.
Last year alone, we sent 38 "Quilts of Valor" to military hospitals.
We lost count of the "Baby Quilts" delivered to NWTH and BSA - in excess of 100!

The 2009 Quilter's Summer Retreat

Candy Norris of Candy's Quilted Creations is now handling the summer camp by herself.
R&R Quilts and More wants to plan a Spring or Summer Retreat next year. With our Quilt Shop Hop the following weekend and Open House falling earlier, it was just too much at one time.
As always, Candy has planned a great weekend for you. It will held at Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center starting Friday at 10:00 a.m.
