This has been a winner. When we don't have what you want, ask us for it. We are always ready to help with any of your Quilting needs. Sometimes, however, we find you have bigger problems than time or personnel allows so we are arranging one-on-one help or class sessions. Just be sure you make an appointment so the right kind of help or personnel is available.
$20 an hour.
Class Policies
Pre-registration and full payment is required for all classes
We will be happy to take your name on an "interested" basis, but only payment will reserve the class fo you. Phone reservations may be charged to your credit card. A supply list will be given to you at the time of payment or mailed.
You fee is refundable or transferable up to three (3) days before the first class.
No refunds for no-shows.
We will cancel a class if the minimum number of students is not met five (5) days prior to the first class session. (Minimum is usually five students.) If we cancel the class, we will gladly refund your money or apply the amount toward another class.
We recommend waiting to purchase supplies until your class makes. We cannot issue refunds for cancelled class supplies

The BOM plan is designed to allow you to pay for your classes in smaller increments. NONE of these classes are designed for you to pick and choose. When you sign up for a BOM Class, you are promising to pay for all the segments. Since some people are still dropping out, we MUST have a credit card when you sign up.
The Night Before Christmas - Joanna Simpson

The Night Before Christmas, from Quakertown Quilts, is incredibly fun and celebrates a joyous season fo the year. This block-of-the-month quilt includes a dozen classic appliqued blocks that illustrate Clement C. Moore's famous poem about St. Nick's Christmas Eve visit. Class fee inclues the pattern and fabric for each block (excludes sashing and borders.) Mail order is available. Credit card must be on file.

Yvonna's collection of scraps that she cannot seem to throw away has grown to enormous proportions, and she has been making a series of scrappy string quilt blocks, strips, and designs. Bring a bag of your scraps (you may want to sort through them to come up with a cohesive group of scraps), and we'll string along with several designs.
Hand Piecing - Yvonna Hays

Learn basic hand-piecing skills in two simple blocks. You'll learn techniques such as marking seam lines, setting-in pieces, and floating seams. You'll even learn how to pin and sew a gentle curved seam. Some supplies will be provided.

Step One Machine Quilting (Beginner) - Shannon Kratochvil

Saturday, April 17th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This class is called "Step One" because Shannon will start and finsh slowly, so this is for the very, very beginner. Supplies will be furnished in class. You will need a machine in good working order with a walking foot and a spring-loaded foot (applique' foot, darning foot, etc.) Machine quilting is the only way to get all of the things done that we want to do in this lifetime, so start now before you get further behind!
